A portfolio with three distinct parts for a photographer who needs to do more than just show images.

Freelance photographer Adam Haglund needed a new website. A graphic designer and programmer were already involved, but a good information architecture was lacking. I designed wireframes which were then made into web design by Malvin Karlsson at Unna Design and implemented by Leander Lindahl and Anders Liljenberg at L12.
Adams portfolio obviously had to show his images - but it became more complex as his documentary and journalistic work often needed accompanying text.
The final design divides his portfolio into three distinct parts:
- Semi-emotional Portfolio for a more traditional slideshow with brief texts appearing next to images.
- Purely emotional Image series for longer series of images for more emotional impact and with a more journalistic tonality in any text.
- Almost totally rational Assignments to show that he can work with and deliver to clients. Much like a tearsheet, images should be displayed in their context; someone else's product, in order to take advantage of client brands.
